About the treatment

Lips

Full and shaped lips add beauty to your face and smile. The treatment for the lips can be a lip augmentation, lip reduction or lip shaping. People with thin deflated lips can have fuller, plump lips after a dermal filler injection, Dermal grafting or a fat grafting. Individuals with bigger than normal lips can get a surgical lip reduction to have proportionate and shaped lips. Those who have aging changes to the upper lip can consider reducing the lip height with the help of a lip lift procedure.

Lip Augmentation

Lip augmentation can be done as an office procedure using dermal fillers. This is a very effective outpatient procedure, which is done within 15 to 20 minutes. The lip fillers usually last for up to a year – depending on the type of filler taken. A permanent measure for lip augmentation is fat grafting, which is a permanent solution for this problem. The surgery can be done under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure with very less downtime. Lip fillers have to be performed by precision so use an experience injector to get aesthetically superior results.

Lip Reduction

Some people feel that their lips are too large and not in balance with rest of their face. A solution for them would be a lip reduction procedure in which part of the lip mucosa is removed surgically under local anaesthesia. This is a day care procedure. If done properly the results of a lip reduction can be beautiful, natural looking lips.

Lip Lift

Some people have longer looking lips congenitally or because of aging. The height of the lip can be reduced surgically by removing a small part of the upper lip skin to give a shorter lip, more lip show and some eversion. This is called a lip lift and it can be combined with lip fat grafting when it is done for an aging lip.
